Doubling
Other than playing with your friends or family with fun, when it comes to heat things up, backgammon is played for an agreed wager. When a player feels adventageous at some point he/she can double the stakes by offering the doubling cube. If the other player accepts it game goes on x2 wager, if not, game is lost to the other player and agreed wager is payed instead of doubled wager. Doubling can go as high as 64 on the dice. If agreed it can go higher but than players must take a note of that because doubling cube has the number 64 as maximum. When a player accepts the doubling offer he/she gets the ownage of the doubling cube and right to double. When you are offered a double you can always double back at your opponent if you see fit.
At the end of the game agreed wager or points in tournament play is multiplied by the win type (1 for gammon, 2 for backgammon) and than multiplied with the current doubling cube. Final result is the earnt points for tournament play or the wager needs to be payed to the victor.
