Gammons and Backgammons
First player to bear off all checkers from the board wins the game. If a player looses while bearing off he/she pays/looses only the agreed wager or points multiplied with doubling cube. If a player looses before starting bearing off which is called a backgammon; lost points or wager is multiplied by 2. Let’s say the wager is 4 beans and at the end of the game which results with a backgammon, doubling cube is at 8, lost beans will be 4×8x2=64.
