Setup
Backgammon game is played by two players on a board seperated by a bar in the middle. Each part consists of 12 triangles, 6 in each side with alternate colors which are called “points”. The quadrants are called “home board” and “outer board”.

Each point is numbered starting from a player’s homeboard, 1 to 24. A player’s 24 number corresponds other player’s number in his/her home board. Each player has fifteen checkers.

A common set consists two sets of different color dices, a dice cup for shaking and a doubling cube with numbers 2,4,8,16,32 and 64 on its faces to keep track of the stakes in the game.
